The Road of Dust and Sorrow draws inspiration from mid-90s classics but infuses them with a modern, soulful focus on the bond between parent and child. As Katherine, you navigate a world of haunting beauty and danger while protecting your daughter, Ava, from creatures driven by a primal hunger. By shifting the focus from mindless carnage to story-driven survival, the game blurs the line between necessity and cruelty, forcing you to wonder just how far is too far when protecting the only thing you have left.
